Maryland State Board of Cosmetologists who are currently licensed can now renew their licenses electronically over the Internet. Please review the services menu and fee chart listed below. Click the option of your choice.

Effective 10/1/08 the Makeup Artist license has been repealed and the Board will no longer issue a Makeup Artists license.

Fees for State Board of Cosmetologists

If you are unable to complete your transaction due to unexplained problems, including a "Server Busy" message, you may need to update your browser. A common problem, involving Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0, results in a blank screen, when your licensing transaction proceeds (links) from one screen to the next. You may upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer or Netscape by clicking on browser updates and information.
