This is part-time and/or seasonal work. The work may be for
varying lengths duration dependent upon workload. It may range from a few days, a week or
full-time from a few weeks to several months. Intermittent Employment is limited to not more
than forty hours (40.0) per week and must not exceed more than eighty hours (80.0) of
employment during a biweekly period. Some positions in this classification require the
ability to operate a typewriter. Demonstration of proficiency may be required prior to
appointment.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possession
of a State high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of full-time employment, or its
equivalent, in general clerical work involving public contact.
- Applicants may substitute full-time employment or its equivalent, for the required
education at the rate of one-year experience for one-year education.
- Applicants may substitute 30 credit hours at an accredited college or university for
one-year experience.
Selection Process:
Rating for this classification will be done by the
Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation/Office of Human Resources. The
rating will consist of an evaluation of your education, training, and experience
as they relate to the requirements of the position. Your rating will be based on
the information provided on your application. Therefore, it is important that
you report all experience and education that is related to this position
completely and accurately (RESUMES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR ANY PORTION OF THE
