Description:
This is a part-time and/or seasonal work.
The work may be for varying lengths of duration dependent upon the workload.
It may range from a few days, a week, or full-time from a few weeks to several
months. Intermittent employment is limited to forty hours (40.0) per week and
must not exceed more than eighty hours (80.0) of employment during a biweekly
period.
Minimum Qualifications:
One year of full-time employment, or its equivalent, in unemployment insurance claims taking and/or processing work within the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
OR
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a State high school equivalency certificate AND Four years of full-time employment or its equivalent in general clerical work.
OR
Possession of an Associate Arts Degree from an accredited college or university, or successful completion of sixty (60) semester hours.
Selection Process:
Rating for this classification will be done by the Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation/Office of Human Resources. The rating will consist of an evaluation of your education, training, and experience as they relate to the requirements of the position. Your rating will be based on the information provided on your application. Therefore, it is important that you report all experience and education that is related to this position completely and accurately

NOTE: Candidates are subject to security clearance before the
interview, and their work records will be reviewed by the hiring division.
Send only one State application (MS-100) for all the three Intermittent positions, Intermittent UI Aide, Intermittent UI Associate, and the Intermittent UI Specialist. Your application will be reviewed and rated, based upon the minimum qualifications for all the three classifications.
