Notice of Final Action

On July 16, 2013, the Commissioner of Labor and Industry adopted, through incorporation by reference under COMAR 09.12.31 Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Act — Incorporation by Reference of Federal Standards, corrections and amendments relating to Updating OSHA Standards Based on National Consensus Standards; Head Protection, 29 CFR Parts 1910 and 1926, excluding Parts 1915, 1917, and 1918, published in 77 FR 37587—37600 (June 22, 2012), as amended. This action, which was proposed for adoption in 40:10 Md. R. 929 (May 17, 2013), has been adopted with the nonsubstantive changes shown below.

Effective Date: August 5, 2013.

Attorney General’s Certification

In accordance with State Government Article, §10-113, Annotated Code of Maryland, the Attorney General certifies that the following changes do not differ substantively from the proposed text. The nature of the changes and the basis for this conclusion are as follows:

The effective date of the proposed regulation was originally published as July 8, 2013, in the May 17, 2013 issue of the Maryland Register (40:10 Md. R. (May 17, 2013). The July 8, 2013 date was printed in error as the correct effective date is August 5, 2013.
