Notice of Proposed Action
The Secretary of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation proposes to repeal Regulations
.01 — .09 under COMAR 09.01.09 New Home Warranty Security Plans.
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of this action is to repeal the existing regulations covering new home warranty security plans because they are being
replaced by new regulations being proposed by the Consumer Protection Division of the Office of the Attorney General. Authority over new home warranty security plans has been transferred by the General Assembly from the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation to the Consumer Protection Division. The effective date of the repeal will be set to coincide with the effective date of the replacement regulations.
